Up and Running0

Well, it was a painful week, but I have finished rebuilding my website from the ground up. If I didn’t make it clear before through my continuous whining on facebook and twitter, I broke my website last weekend. No, there wasn’t any kind of technical apocalypse that happened to my web server. It was I and I alone, who decided I should click the delete button on about 700 images on my website, thinking it was not my website, but a different oneI’ve been thinking about it a lot though, and maybe it was meant to happen. Clearly to anyone who used to read this on a regular basis knows that I have gone AWOL. I would blame it on the work I was doing this summer and the absence off time for this website, but that’s been over for almost a month now, and still my old posts had remained. But now I’m back with a new determination.

If you didn’t notice, it is no longer called “Nick’s Adventure Blog” because while life is an adventure in and of itself, the title seemed too limiting. Now I can post things that don’t always pertain to traveling, but to ideas and interests in general. I also hope to start to do some tutorial stuff for any of you out there enjoy photography or that type of thing. Some tips and tricks type of stuff. You’ll also probably get to follow along as I search for permanent employment. If you didn’t notice this website serves as a portfolio as well, for possible employers or freelance employment. Both good.

I also must point out that all of old posts are not quite uploaded yet- and that most of the photographs I took in Asia are missing from the posts. In time my friends they will be reinstated- mostly because no one read my posts anyway and just looked at the pictures (yeah I get it, pictures are more interesting).

I’m hoping that this enthusiasm I have to actually start writing in this blog again doesn’t wane, but we shall see. Of course, when I receive comments back it helps me realize people read it and encourages me to do more- out of guilt if nothing else.

‘Nuff said for now, I hope that future posts won’t be quite so dull. But hey- it’s MY website! So back off.
