Here are some photos of a deck I did for Bright Ideas by Martinec. It was designed by Alex Martinec, and I have to say, it was a blast to photograph. I was very pleased with how they turned out. Also a shout out to Pure Design on Market Street in Corning, NY- they provided us with the awesome furniture for the shoot.

We started about an hour and half before the sun set, providing us with some really awesome, warm light. It worked particularly well with this kind of modern architecture because it gave different faces of the structure all different values. I also used Photomatrix 4 (which combined with Lightroom 3 is the bees-knees) to fuse different exposures together to make some really nice images.

I plan to add some more of the photos, but I was so excited about this shoot, I couldn’t wait to get some up.

The photos look like they could be from a glossy magazine spread.

Who could possibly need designers and photographers from New York City? These shots are magnificent. Spectacular project. Thanks for sharing.
