I'm an Emmy nominated Art Director hybrid who uses design, strategy, and technology to tell great stories. I've worked on projects and campaigns for Google, Target, Dropbox, Instagram, Coors, Square, and the LA28 Olympics. Read below if you want the stalker version.

I grew up with 7 brothers and sisters in upstate Corning, NY– the same place where your parents' dishes were made. We drove around the country in a gold 1984 GMC van when we went on family vacations because flying anywhere was too expensive for 10 people. I studied in New Zealand during my junior year of college and was a teacher in Bangkok, Thailand for a year. And after some time living in my parents' basement writing music, I moved to Richmond to study Creative Technology and got a Masters degree at the VCU Brandcenter in Richmond, VA. I shoot old film cameras, play video games, try to surf, and love building new things out of old things. I currently live in Venice, CA and work at 72andSunny.

Hit me up at nick(at)nickmarx.com for coffee or beers.
